music monday

A big part of who I am is all thanks to musical influences I have had growing up. Looking back, I can’t recall a time where there was no music. Whether it was learning a musical instrument, listening to the radio in the car, or singing songs with my mom and dad at bed time, there was never any silence. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

As I grew up, my music taste changed. Sure, I’ll still jam out to the Jonas Brothers occasionally, with no shame, but I began discovering all sorts of bands and genres that I fell in love with. Discovering new music became as fun as reading a book for the first time.

Every Monday, I will be making a post containing 7 songs to get you through the week. Hopefully you will love discovering new music as much as I do! Feel free to leave comments with your thoughts!

Week One

To start music Mondays off on the right foot, this week is all about happy summer jams. These are songs to listen to with the car windows down, wind in your hair.
